The Elmendorf Officers’ Spouse’s Organization
(EOSO) is a non-profit organization that raises funds to support the
Elmendorf and surrounding communities by way of charitable
contributions and scholarships. The EOSO Arctic Bazaar is held every
year at Elmendorf Air Force Base. Vendors come from all over Alaska
to sell their unique products.
This year the EOSO will host its 24th
Annual Arctic Bazaar on Saturday, October 10th, 2009 from
9am – 5pm at Hanger 5 on the base. This is a free event open to the
public. Enter at the
Post Road gate with a photo ID.
This is the perfect opportunity to find your
Alaskan treasure for yourself or for your family in the “lower 48”.
Some of the many handmade Alaskan items that can be found at the
bazaar are Ulu knives, soaps, pottery, artwork, salmon salsa,
reindeer sausage, jewelry, hand made ornaments, and a host of family
fun activities! Come join the fun!
For vendors, our bazaar is unique in that we love
to host you, the vendor. We take care of you throughout the
day and we appreciate you supporting our fundraiser. Proceeds
from this bazaar go to scholarships and grants, as well as quality
of life organizations here at Elmendorf and in the surrounding
community.

All available booths have been filled for the 2009
Arctic Bazaar, and we can no longer accept vendor applications for
the waiting list. Vendors interested in participating in the
2010 Arctic Bazaar can send an email to the Vendor Coordinator, at
arcticbazaarvendors@elmendorfoso.com, to be included in the July
send out.
