Dear Student,
The Elmendorf Officers’ Spouses’ Organization (EOSO)
will be awarding several $1000 scholarships this year. Please read
the Scholarship Guidelines to see if you qualify. Interested
students are required to complete the attached questionnaire and
return it to the EOSO by March 28, 2008. Please allow enough
mailing time for the packets to reach the EOSO by the deadline.
Late packets will not be accepted. A formal scholarship packet is
not required, only the questionnaire provided. The return address
is printed at the end of the questionnaire.
The selection committee will meet during the
first half of April. If you are selected for the scholarship you
will be notified by telephone within a day of selection. A letter
confirming selection will also be sent. A letter will also notify
those students not selected. We will be presenting scholarships at
an awards reception hosted by the EOSO on the evening of April
24, 2008. We would also like to do a presentation at
your school awards assembly in order to honor you where friends,
family and school staff can join in the celebration of your
accomplishments.

- Official Transcript with Registrar’s seal

- Wallet size photo for publicity release
